Manna House Kenya was founded in response to a simple but urgent need: ensuring that vulnerable children have access to nutritious meals, care, and hope. Inspired by the legacy of Rev. Samuel Kamau Joel and driven by a deep commitment to serving the community, the organization began as a grassroots initiative supporting children in Maina Village, Nyahururu.
As the programme grew, so did its impact and commitment to accountability. In April 2025, Manna House was officially registered with the Department of Social Development. We also operate with the full consent of the Department of Children Services and the Sub-county Director of Education, ensuring that our work is carried out responsibly, transparently, and in the best interests of the children and families we serve.
Today, Manna House Kenya brings together donors, volunteers, schools, churches, and community partners to provide nutritious meals, mentorship, and holistic support, creating brighter futures for vulnerable children one meal, one child, and one act of kindness at a time.
We believe that every child is created with purpose and deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive. Hunger should never stand in the way of a child’s education, health, or future.
Every shilling counts and helps us bring hope and essential resources to children in need.
